“My Name Is America” Philly, NY, GA and more!

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for taking the time to read our latest update!  Things haven’t really slowed down, we just have shows in Panama City Beach, FL 6 nights a week, so keeps us busy!  It’s been good to see all of you who have come down for vacation!

We have lots of exciting news and things still happening with “My Name Is America!”  It is really a good feeling to be a part of a positive thing for America!  It’s so great to see Americans showing their pride too.  Recently Todd was asked to come to Philadelphia, PA to sing “My Name Is America” at The Delaware County Community Foundation Salute to Veterans Gala Honoring Claude de Botton with the Gary Papa Leadership in Philanthropy Award!  We even get a tour of the city!  Very excited for that!

Of course we are still super excited to be part of the 126th Anniversary Celebration of the Statue of Liberty on October 28 of this year!  We also found out that this will be the Grand Re-Opening day, because she has been closed for renovations since that time last year!  What an honor!  When we get more details we will let everyone know more for sure.

The official Video on YouTube now has 551, 416 + Views!  Again we are so proud to have been blessed to be a part of this wonderful song and it’s journey!  Here is the link once again if you would like to Share it on FaceBook or in an email: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TPgJSZf5Vw.  Let’s keep the positive message going!

We recently received and email from a gentleman who is using our song in his light display at his home.  We think it’s very cool to show your America Pride!  Here is the link for his video of his display: http://vimeo.com/43953219 . We also thank him for sharing his use with us.

This past Saturday June 16 Todd was invited to be a part of the “Georgia Honors Iraq Veterans and their Families” in Rome, GA.  They wanted him to bring the bus and be a part of the parade.  We did!  We had “My Name is America” playing out the windows all the way and Todd was inside the bus moving from side to side out the windows waving and thanking the troops.  It was such a neat experience and very moving to see all who came out in the town to help welcome home the heroes!  And afterwards there was a big celebration ceremony at The Forum (Civic Center type venue).  Todd sang “My Name Is America”  as part of the ceremony.  The ceremony included performances from the U.S. Army Band, a Gold Star Mom, Patty Sailor,  singing the National Anthem, The Mayor, Evie McNiece, of Rome speaking, Major General Butterworth speaking, a song from a fallen soldier’s brother, Congressman Tom Graves speaking and Governor Nathan Deal of Georgia was also there to thank these heroes.  It was an honor to be in such great company, not to mention the company of the men and woman who we were honoring!  Below we have included pictures and here is a link to a very cool video presentation we put together of the event: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRpQRa7er0M .  We hope you enjoy!

Marine Aviation Centennial AND Todd Singing at Statue of Liberty!!

Hi Friends!

As always, we thank you for taking the time to share our journey with us!  Without our friends and fans we would be nothing!  Our Song “My Name Is America” continues to take us down many roads.  We are so pleased to see the Lord using it for His purpose!  If this is your  first time reading our blog, please visit www.toddallenherendeen.wordpress.com to see many of the past incredible places this song has taken us.

Most recently Todd was invited to sing it at the Marine Aviation Centennial Celebration.  It honored 100 years since the Marines first flight.  It was and incredible evening and event that included many Generals, Lieutenant Colonels, and 200+ Marines serving our wonderful country.  The evening included dinner, speeches, and special presentations for two families who had lost their sons.  The families were presented portraits of theirs sons by the artist who did them, after a moving presentation about the life of these young men who had given their lives.   It was an evening of tears, fun, honor and pride.  We sincerely enjoyed it and were honored to be able to be a part of it.  We wish every American could have the chance to experience the loyalty, honor and pride these men and woman share for their friends and country! Don’t get us started, on supporting our veterans and active service members 🙂 haha.  They told Todd and Angel they were honored they came and sang the song, but Todd and Angel were so much more humbled and honored to have been there!  Thank you to Lt.Col. Raz for asking us to be a part of the fantastic night!  The night was also a fundraiser for the Marine Aviation Memorial Tower to be put up in Pensacola, FL.  Visit this web site to learn more or make a donation: http://www.honorourmarines.org/McCutcheon_Squadron/Welcome.html.  Below are some pictures from the event.

We have more exciting and unbelievable news!  Todd has been asked to sing “My Name Is America” at the BASE OF THE STATUE OF LIBERTY in New York on October 28, 2012 for the 126th Anniversary Celebration!  We are so excited and, again we use the word honored, but there is no other way to describe the incredible events we get asked to be a part of!!  As we get all the details in, we will be updating the schedule and sharing details.

May 22 begins our Summer Schedule in Panama City Beach, FL.  We will be performing at Gulf World Marine Park every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and at the Holiday Inn Resort for Resort Guests on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.  We do have certain Black out days that we have to travel, and shows and events coming up frequently with “My Name Is America” on a National level, so please check www.toddallenherendeen.com frequently for an updated schedule.  We look forward to seeing you as you make Panama City Beach, FL your vacation destination!

Don’t forget you can order your copy of “My Name Is America” on CD or DVD, as well as sheet music, at www.MyNameIsAmerica.us, the official site of the song!

Warner Brothers asks about “My Name Is America!”

Hi Friends!

We appreciate you taking the time to follow our journey with our song ” My Name Is America!”  We Hope if this is your first time here to our blog that you will scroll around and look at some of our past posts of where the song has taken us so far!  You can also look to the right of the page and Enter Your Email address where it says “Follow Blog”  and you will get new posts sent directly to your email.

“My Name Is America” now has over 435,000 views on YouTube!  We are very proud that people are sharing it via emails all over the world.  But if you think about how many millions of people are out there, that need to hear the message of the song, you can see we still have a lot of work and a long way to go!  It can only happen with YOUR HELP!  Together we CAN spread this message!  All you have to do is copy and paste this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TPgJSZf5Vw  in an email and then EMAIL IT to ALL of your Friends!  This is a very important time in our American History, be a working part of it!  We thank all of you who are helping America through many ways.  This is our way and we want you to be a part of it.

We had an interesting request for use of the song a few days ago.  A rep from Warner Brothers asked to use  “My Name Is America” in trailers/ads/promos for THE CAMPAIGN, a movie coming out in August.  Below you will find the documents they emailed us.  The movie is described as:

**Comedy**

Two rival North Carolina politicians with presidential aspirations tangle with one another. With the PRINICIPAL CAST:   Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Dylan McDermott, Brian Cox, Jason Sudeikis, John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd, Sarah Baker, Katherine La Nasa, Kate Lang Johnson.

After careful consideration and a lot of research and meetings, we came to the conclusion that we would not accept and let them use the song.  We are very serious about the song’s message and positive stance for America.  We would not want it to become a joke or make fun of America.  We have high respect for those who serve America in so many different ways and this song has always been dedicated to them and we don’t want it tainted in any way.  So we are very very pleased it attracted Hollywood’s attention, but all that glitters, as they say, is not gold.  🙂  So we feel we made a respectable decision to keep the integrity of the song very high!  Pretty cool feeling though, when they want to put your song in a movie 🙂  Check out the documents below to see more.  Again we did not give them the rights to use the song and are very comfortable with that decision.

Last week Florida Senator Marco Rubio was in Panama City, FL and Todd was invited to be there.  Below is their photo.

Speaking of Panama City, Todd will be performing his show every Thursday at Gulf World Marine Park’s 675 seat indoor, state-of-the-art theatre in Panama City Beach, FL!  You can check out Todd’s full schedule at www.ToddAllenHerendeen.com.  Throughout the summer season, Todd and his band perform 6 nights a week in Panama City Beach, FL (tourists come by the droves!)  They are also the house show at Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach.   If you stay at the resort, you get to see the show there on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Again all info can be found on Todd’s website.   If you haven’t been to Panama City Beach, FL, there is no other beaches as beautiful!  White soft sand and beautiful clear emerald waters of the gulf!  We had to include a photo below, so you can see what you’re missing!

If you hear “My Name Is  America” on your local radio PLEASE call in and tell them if you like it!  If you have a station in your area that  you think should play it, call and tell them it has over 374, 000 views on YouTube and plays on tons of radio stations around the country, so maybe they can play it?!  Every little bit helps.  One person can make a difference sometimes.  Look at the impact Jesus had on the world.  One Man.

We also need help keeping the momentum up on spreading the video via Email and Facebook.  If you have not shared it via Facebook You can by copying and pasting this link in a status: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TPgJSZf5Vw .  You can also paste this link in an email and pass it around.  If you have a mailing list or access to one, please without spamming, send to as many as you possibly can.  This is the only way we have access to the entire country and world, as TV and Radio are very expensive.  But with internet, YOU can be a part of helping!  We thank you fans for your support of Todd, but more importantly for your support of our Vets and America.  That is what this song is about.  It’s not political not matter how much certain people want to try to make it that way. We never released it to be political and divide Americans.  We just wanted to show pride in America!  It has taken us so many wonderful places and taught us a lot.

One such event recently was the Wounded Warrior Beach Retreat in Panama City Beach, FL.  Check out what they and their site here: http://warriorbeachretreat.org/.  It is amazing to hear these wounded vets thank Us for making them feel welcome and special.  We most definitely don’t deserve thanks, THEY DO.  That is what the retreat is all about.  Todd and Angel had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with them on the Betsy Ann Riverboat Cruise, who took them out for a ride and lunch.  In talking with them, most say they do not regret doing what they did, because they were protecting our Freedoms and friends who were in with them, so they would do it over again.  Makes you thankful.  Below are some photos from the boat cruise.

Todd has been asked to sing “My Name Is America” at the Marine Aviation Centennial Celebration  May 12 in Orange Beach, AL.  Will definitely share about that event here on the blog!

We have had many ask about Todd doing USO or other type tours.  We would love to try to get into that if anyone has any info or contacts please share our website www.ToddAllenHerendeen.com with them and/or contact us there!  Thank You!

We have added some dates to our schedule and started our seasonal performances at The Holiday Inn Resort for resort guests .  Click Here to check out our schedule.   Our public beach show is at Gulf World Marine Park every Thursday right now.  We will be adding days later in May.

We will be in GEORGIA This Thursday at The Ritz Theatre in Thomaston, GA!  One night only, last Georgia show for quite a while, so don’t miss it! Tickets still available at the door!   7:30pm showtime. $15 in advance $20 at the door Tickets at the Ritz and TUAC Call 706- 647- 5372 (evenings) for more info.

Keep us in your prayers!

God Bless,

Todd Allen Herendeen Show

Pride In America, Helping Vets, Plus America shows more love to the song!

Hello Friends!

We are so glad you are here reading this and are interested in what’s been happening on this journey!  We continue to press on with spreading the message of “My Name Is America.”  Plus we have started our shows on Thursdays at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City Beach, FL.  We also have some road tour dates mixed in there!  You can find our full schedule at www.toddallenherendeen.com.

Recently Todd was invited to sing and present “My Name Is America” at the Emerald Coast Convention Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL for a  non-political and non-partisan event  that was a fund raiser for Wounded Wear, Freedom Alliance, The Navy SEAL Foundation and PAWs.  Many wonderful speakers were there including Florida Governor Rick Scott.  We have now had the opportunity to meet him at several events.  Todd sang while our YouTube Video Played behind him on a giant screen.  It certainly makes a powerful statement presentation!  We are so happy at America’s response to the video on YouTube.  We are over 105,300 real views!  Americans are passing it around email and Facebook, igniting patriotism!  THANK YOU ALL who have helped!   Let’s make a statement out there that there are still PROUD Americans who stand for what is right.  We have always said from the beginning this song is for ALL Americans, not one party or people, but all dreamers and friends!  The video has moved so many people, they’ve been asking for us to sell it on DVD.  We have DVD’s being produced now.  They should be available in about two and a half weeks.  We will let you know as soon as they are available!  You will be able to order them from www.mynameisamerica.us.  We have also had many many requests for sheet music of the song, so we have that being printed this week also.  It will be available in a week on the “My Name Is America” web site.  We are so happy to be a positive influence for America.  We thank the Lord for using us for His purpose.

Here is the link again for the YouTube Video of “My Name Is America:”  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TPgJSZf5Vw.  Again we ask you to copy and paste it in an email and send it on to your friends.  Remember how many times you’ve received other video emails that you may not watch until you get it a second or third time?!  😉  Right!

Todd was also recently asked to sing the song at the Panama City Courthouse steps and state attorney Glenn Hess was there, below is the photo.

Spring Break is in full swing in Panama City Beach, FL!  What a gorgeous Winter it’s been!  If you haven’t been to PCB to see why they call it the world’s most beautiful beaches, you don’t know what you are missing!  White sand (yes really!) emerald waters, great shopping, food, tons of things to do besides the beach too!  (Like come see our show at Gulf World while you are in town!)  Plus next month we start performing regularly at Holiday Inn Resort also.  And we mean RESORT!  You can stay here and not really ever have to leave; live shows for adults, kids, restaurants, gorgeous pool with waterfall, and much more!  Check them out at www.hipcbeach.com.  We are so pleased to be back for our 3rd season at Holiday Inn Resort!

We have some road shows coming up as well.  The end of the month we head back to south Florida.  Next month we go to Ozark, Alabama and Thomaston, Georgia!  See our Full Schedule at www.toddallenherendeen.com for details.

God Bless,

Todd Allen Herendeen Show

My Name Is America still climbing charts!

Hi Everyone!

We want to thank our fans for another fantastic Winter Season at The Breakers in Panama City Beach, FL!  Thank you to The Breakers staff for their hard work too!  We broke attendance records this season!  We now begin performing on Thursdays at Gulf World Marine Park’s Tropical Garden Theatre.  It is a beautiful indoor, state of the art, Branson style theatre.  We are proud to start our 11th season there!  Big thank you to Gulf World for giving us a Home and life in Panama City Beach, FL!  Our lives would not be the same without this wonderful place!

We recently made a mini trip to South Florida for 3 shows.  All went really well!  Got to see a beautiful sunset before one show, below are some photos.  There are also some photos of what the band did with some free time before the show.  We happened to be near a golf course, so it was interesting!  HaHa!  We do have fun on the road, even though it’s tiring.

“My Name is America” continues to gain more radio airplay and climb charts!  We are thanking God for the blessings.  We are so glad our country is realizing it is still cool to be patriotic!  We want this song to unite All Americans.  The video for You Tube has over 28,000 REAL views now!  It has been getting over 1000 views a day now!  Here is the link to copy and paste in emails to SHARE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TPgJSZf5Vw.  If you haven’t seen or heard the song yet, the video has all the words in it, along with photos, which really helps the message sink in.  As the song says, “we are challenged by tyrants,” and we show examples of people who have threatened our country, but we have many more threats and tyrants that are not as easily pictured.  Evil comes in many forms.  The song says these tyrants”envy our power.”  This country was founded on “In God We Trust” and that is where the power comes from.  Please continue to pray for our country!  We still feel blessed to live in the USA!

Here are the latest charts for “My Name Is America:” We moved up 4 spots on NMW to #11!  NMW Indie chart we moved up 3 spots to #6!  Up to #115 on the Music Row chart!

Nashville, TN Showcase Photos

Hello Everyone!

We have had quite a week!  We did a show Tuesday with Ray Walker, Bass Singer for The Jordanaires since 1958.  He is one of the most recorded voices in Music history (The whole group are the most recorded!)  What a fun night with lots of music history!  We had shows Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at The Breakers in Panama City Beach, FL.  Thursday morning Angel and I flew to Nashville, TN for CRS Show case.  During the day we got to meet many music industry contacts and promote “My Name Is America.”  We want to thank James Williams and Paul Loggins for their great job in radio promotion for us.  While there, We got to meet Nathan Osmond, (yes he is Donnie and Marie’s Nephew!)  What a pleasure that was!  We wish him the best with his country music career, he deserves it!  If you haven’t heard him yet, check him out.  Another cool person was hanging out there too, Roy Orbison’s son, Wesley!  We met him and got photos.  Below are pictures.  It was a great day and we boarded the plane back to Panama City at 7pm that same day so we could be back on stage that night at the Breakers, for a SOLD OUT show!  We landed at 8:15 and by 8:45 we were at the Breakers, had changed clothes and walked on stage!  God Is Good!  Thanks for all your prayers and support!  Speaking of  The Breakers, our Thursday, Friday and Saturday night shows were all SOLD OUT!  So a Big Thank you to you fans who keep coming back and seeing us!  We have only one more weekend, next Friday and Saturday March 2 and 3, left at The Breakers for this season.

We have Sunday off and then Monday we head to Marianna, FL for a show, then south for shows on Tuesday and Wednesday.  We will do another post about this trip later it the week.

Here are the chart updates for this week for “My Name is America.”
