Book Mark This Page to Follow Todd's Journey!

Hello everyone!

We are happy to write yet another update about moving up and forward with the “My Name is America” journey!  On the music charts, the song has moved up to # 118 from # 124 on the Music Row Chart, on the New Music Weekly Main Country Chart we moved up to # 18 and on the New Music Weekly Country Indie Chart we moved up to #12.  We thank the Lord for his Favor on this!  (We know where every good and perfect thing comes from :) )

The “My Name is America” Video on YouTube continues to grow with over 9000 views now.  But we need more help sharing it.  Wouldn’t it be awesome to see it get to hundreds of thousands?!  Please keep emailing it and posting it on Facebook, if you believe in it’s message and want to be a part of sharing something positive for our country!  You can forward this email or send friends to www.MyNameIsAmerica.us.  This web site has everything; ways to purchase a copy of the song, ways to view the video and much more.  Here is a link to the direct page of the video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TPgJSZf5Vw.  You can highlight this link and then right click on your mouse and click “Copy” and then go to your email and create a new email and right click in the email and click “paste” and the link will then be in your email.  The video will  then be easily viewed from your email!  You can then telly our friends why you want them to view it.

This Thursday Feb 23 Todd and Angel will fly to Nashville for the day So Todd can be a part of the New Music Showcase.  He will sing about 4 original songs for Radio Program Directors, Label reps, etc.  It is an incredible opportunity to meet these people and show them why they should play “My Name is America,” along with showing his unbelievable talent.  They fly back in the evening for their performance at The Breakers in Panama City beach, FL.  Again we are thankful for favor and prayers on this!

These next two weeks will be very busy!  We have a show this Tuesday Feb 21 at Gulf World Marine Park, as part of their Winter Concert Series.  Mr. Ray Walker, Bass singer for The Jordanaires, will join Todd and the Band for a night of fun music and stories.  Wednesday Feb 22, Thursday Feb 23, Friday Feb 24 and Saturday Feb 25 are all at The Breakers Dinner/Showroom in Panama City Beach, FL.   Thank you fans for a fantastic weekend of packed out houses this past weekend!  The following week, Feb 27 we will be in Mariann, FL, Feb 28 in Avon Park, Fl and Feb 29 in Lake Placid, FL.  Then our final weekend at Breakers is that Friday and Saturday March 2 and 3.  See our complete tour schedule at www.toddallenherendeen.com.

We are also very pleased about the release of the Official YouTube Video for “My Name Is America!”  Here is the official link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TPgJSZf5Vw  It has has 5600+ views in it’s first week and we think that’s pretty awesome because they are all REAL views by real people and not bought by a company just to run up the number.  (We found out people pay to get more views on their videos. That’s fine for them, but we want real people so we can spread the wonderful message!)  So we thank ALL of you for forwarding the video in emails, sharing it on Face Book and any other way you have shared it!  It is very helpful and we ask that you continue to share it and get this positive message to spread and “Go Viral” like all these other crazy videos out there do! :)  We have had many ask about purchasing a copy of the video.  We were not sure if we were going to have the demand for that or not, but now we hope to put together a DVD copy that you can purchase.  We will keep you updated on that effort.  It will be a few weeks to get those done.  Will make them available on www.MyNameIsAmerica.us like the CD’s.  Speaking of www.MyNameIsAmerica.us, that is another easy way to tell friends where to go to find the video, and also hear the song or purchase a copy if they want!  The video is now right there on the front page.  There are also links there to download the song straight to your phone or Ipod through ITunes and Amazon.  Oh and one more thing- you can get the Ringtone there!  How cool is that?  All that in one great web site.
The month of February we have been performing Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at The Breakers in Panama City Beach, FL.  (That reminds us, wow, it was an incredible week for the Gulf this week, we just had to include some photos of how beautiful the water is!  If you haven’t been to Panama City Beach, you will see why they call it the word’s most beautiful beaches, with the white soft sand and gorgeous emerald waters!)  It’s been full houses at Breakers and great crowds, so thank you fans!  Make sure you make your reservations by calling 850-234-6060.  Come for dinner and the show or just the show.  We may be adding a few dates in March there, not confirmed yet.
We are really excited for our concert with Ray Walker at Gulf World Marine Park coming up Tuesday February 21.  Mr. Ray is a music legend and one of  the most recorded voices in music history.  Singing with him and hearing his wonderful stories about all of the many artists he has worked with is incredible and we never get tired of working with him!  Click Here to visit Gulf World’s website and get more info about this show and all of the concerts in their “Winter concert Series.”  You can also call 850-234-5271.  I am pleased to be the MC and sing “My Name Is America” at each concert in the series.  This is our 11th season/10th year of performing at Gulf World in this wonderful theatre!
We have added some dates at the end of the month, to our schedule.  Wednesday the 15th we will be in Pensacola, FL for another “Florida Freedom Rally.”  Monday February 27 in Marianna, FL with Mr. Ron McNeil who is running for U.S. Senate. If you haven’t heard him speak yet, come out and join us for our fun full show and he will speak for a short time after the concert and answer questions.  Tuesday February 28 we will be in Avon Park, FL.  Wednesday February 29 in Lake Placid, FL.  Click Here to go see our full schedule and get details on all dates.  We hope to see your smiling face at a show soon!
Thanks again for joining us and helping us in the journey!
God Bless you,
Todd

Hello Everyone!
It’s HERE!  The official “My Name is America” YouTube Video!
Written by Kurt Orning, “My Name Is America” is a powerful patriotic anthem that speaks to the hearts of Americans. Proof of how well it is speaking is the fact that it has climbed to number 1 on the Indie World Country Chart. Though certainly a proud American song, other countries have seen tremendous response to it also and several stations have contacted Todd for interviews. As well as the Indie World Chart, “My Name is America” has broken into other charts as well, including the majors. If you hear it on your local radio station, plese call and tell them you liked it! For more information please visit www.MyNameIsAmerica.us and www.ToddAllenHerendeen.com.
PLEASE If you want to help spread the incredible message in this song, SHARE THIS With all of your friends!

THE OFFICIAL VIDEO- Turn it Up and Enjoy!

Hello friends and fans!

Setting up in Jacksonville at the omni

We have had a busy week and a half to say the least! Starting in Jacksonville, Fl we were asked to be a part of a Florida Freedom Rally

because of our song “My Name is America.” Below we have pictures of that and the rest of our tour.

From Jacksonville on the 19th we headed to Southern Pines in Frostproof, FL  for a super fun show!  Thanks

Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church

for a packed house there!

The following Night, Saturday, we did a show in Avon Park, FL. Another great time and full house. Thank you

to my parents for their wonderful hospitality while we were in town. We even ended up doing our show Sunday at their church. We thoroughly enjoyed that. It’s a blessing to perform in the Lord’s house.

Monday morning we headed to The Villages in Florida. We were asked to sing “My Name is America” at an event where presidential hopeful Rick Santorum was speaking. We got to meet and speak with Mr. Santorum for the third time. He actually did remember Todd before he even reminded him!  He explained to him the story behind “My Name is America” (if the statue of Liberty could speak, she may say this) and gave him a copy of it.  He seems a very nice man.  We would also like to thank Pam Dahl and the Tri county Tea Party for hosting the event and giving voters a chance to hear from ALL of the candidates running, so people can make educated voting decisions.

Speaking with Rick Santorum

Todd and Mr. Ron McNeil who is running for U.S. Senate

We also performed again that evening at an event where Ron McNeil, who is running for U.S. senate, spoke. Tuesday evening we did a show at the Sea Breeze Center in The Villages. Afterwards Mr.  McNeil spoke to educate voters once again on what we the people must do to help better America. Thank you to him and his campaign team for including us in the evening.  Todd does not normally voice his political views but he would like to say that he is supporting Mr. Ron McNeil for U.S. Senate.  We hope you will  research Mr. McNeil and make an educated decision on whether or not to vote for him.

By Thursday we were back in Jacksonville for the Republican debate.  Early in the day Todd met Mr. and Mrs. Gingrich and got a chance to have a conversation with them and tell them about “My Name is America.”   Todd asked Mrs. Gingrich how they were feeling after being on the campaign trail and travelling so much, and she said they were still doing well.  Todd commented on how well they looked and she said they have a lot of people to help them stay looking good!  He told her that we have been traveling a lot too and wish we had all the helpers too, and shared a laugh. She then said they had a CD player on their bus and would listen to the song.  Below you can see a couple of pictures.  We jokingly call one the “Newt finally gets to meet Todd Allen Herendeen” photo.  Hahaha!  It is a really neat shot of how all the media was gathered around.

The picture we jokingly titled "Newt finally meets Todd Allen Herendeen" :)

Friday we headed to Apalachicola, FL for shows Friday Night, Saturday night, and Sunday Afternoon.  We had two SOLD OUT (really over sold, standing room only) shows on Friday and Saturday and Sunday was a full house!  Thank you fans so very much!  Also a huge thank you to Dixie and Jerry and all the staff at the theatre for making it so much fun to come back each time.  It is great to see these sell out shows happening.  We had sell outs for our Christmas shows at The Breakers in Panama City Beach and another sell out in Hawkinsville, GA earlier this month.

Todd and Mitt Romeny

Saturday afternoon Mitt Romney visited Panama City and Todd was invited to come and be a part of that.  He got to meet Mr. Romney and also got him to sign a copy of “My Name is America”  He spoke with him about the song and gave him a copy also.  We hope any or all of the candidates can and will use the song to help bring pride back to America.  There are several great photos below of their meeting.  We also want to thank Florida Representative Jimmy Patronis for all he does for our community.  We had the privilege to see him at the event also.

We have always said this song, is not for one particular party or people, but for all Americans and that is true.  With this year being an election year in America, the song has gained attention from these candidates and we find that a very good thing, as it helps the song get bigger national exposure!  We think our song has a great message and that America is still the greatest country on earth. We feel it is not wrong to be patriotic and love this country that is still the land of the free and, thank God, the Home of the Brave!

This week has also seen a lot of national press about “My Name is America” hitting the Number One Spot on the Indie Country Chart.  Thank you to Tifton, GA, Panama City, FL and Kendallville, IN for your wonderful articles.

Herendeen tops Indie music chart
Staff Reports
Monday, January 30, 2012, 10:50am
ROME CITY — Well-known singer, songwriter and entertainer Todd Allen Herendeen, a Noble County native, has the No. 1 song on the Indie World Country Chart.
His first world radio release, “My Name is America,” on the Straight Arrow label, is now the No. 1 independent country song in the United States. On Jan. 6 the song was No. 31 on the New Music Weekly chart and No. 21 on the New Music Weekly Indie Chart. The song — with a patriotic anthem written by Kurt Orning — is also receiving interest from radio stations around the world.
This summer Herendeen will perform for the 11th season at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City Beach, Fla., and at the Holiday Inn, also in Panama City Beach. He currently is touring Florida with his band.
He signed a contract with Straight Arrow Records in 2011.
Herendeen is a frequent performer in northeast Indiana, returning to area venues where he got his start as an entertainer. He often performs for benefits and fundraisers. Last September Herendeen performed in a benefit for his brother Scott Herendeen at the American Legion in Rome City. His brother suffered brain damage when his heart unexpectedly stopped.
“When approached to record this song, I was so moved by the power of songwriter Kurt Orning’s words, I immediately agreed to be part of the production,” stated Herendeen on the mynameisamerica.us website.

“My Name is America” is currently charting on several others charts.

Wow!  That’s how we have to start this one!  Haha!  We really have had a whirl wind couple of days and it continues through the rest of the month, but it’s exciting!  Please keep us in your prayers as you always do.  We know they help us tremendously.  Just this past Tuesday Todd ended up getting to open for Legendary King of The Blues, B.B. King, by singing “My Name is America!”  This was in Panama City, FL and we thank Hess Entertainment for the opportunity!  Local DJ Dr. Shane Collins introduced Todd and explained the fact of our song being the number one independent country song right now.  Before Todd sang the song he thanked, as he ALWAYS DOES, our military heroes past and present.  Seeing how many stood up all over the huge room was an amazing moment!  Thanks be to God for these heroes that protect and serve us.  ”It was an honor to be on stage before B.B. King!  As I was singing “My Name is America” I looked side stage and saw B.B. standing there watching!  Amazing.” Todd said.   After their show every single one of  B.B.’s band guys said they really liked the song and complimented Todd’s voice.  B.B. himself said something about “having a voice like that” referring to Todd.  Todd never got to meet The King of Rock N Roll, or the King of Pop.  But he can say he met the King of The Blues!  After the concert we were invited on his bus to meet him and get an autograph.  Even got a great photo with the legend.  Below we have just a few of the photos we have so far.  Hoping to get some good shots from the photographers of Todd singing.  We will post them later for you.  Everyone asks Todd, “What did you say to B.B.?”  Todd said “I  told him that the first time I remember hearing about him was in the 70′s when I was a kid watching Sanford and Son.  He came on and Fred Sanford was “about to have the big one!”  It was great!”  B.B. of course remembered doing the show and laughed at Todd’s impression of Sanford having “the big one.”  HaHa!

We love the fact that each of you ask us and look forward to us sharing our life happenings with you!  We don’t ever want to feel like we are bragging.  We are not.  And we know that you know we are not.  So that makes us happy!  We are blessed and give all the Glory to God and just love sharing our happiness with you.  Without our fans believing and cheering us on, we would be nothing.  We are so thankful this awesome, positive song has been speaking to the hearts of America!  We need a little positive don’t you think?!

We have more exciting things happening THIS weekend!  The song writer of “My Name is America,” Kurt Orning, will be flying in from Minnesota to celebrate the song hitting #1!  He will be a special guest on both of our shows this Friday and Saturday at The Breakers.  Hear him tell how he wrote this amazing song and more!  Monday morning he and Todd will be on the Panama City Channel 7 morning show with Paris Janos.  All day long they have press interviews scheduled to talk about this amazing song becoming the #1 independent country song in America and express it’s patriotic message.  There will be newspaper articles and radio interviews, we hope to keep you updated so you can catch them in the coming week.

Don’t forget to always check www.toddallenherendeen.com for even more information and our full schedule!  If you still need a copy of “My Name is America,” please visit www.mynameisamerica.us

Christmas Greetings Everyone!

We hope you are having a wonderful holiday season!  It’s not about gifts, but love.

Our song, “My Name is America” has held at number 3 for the second week!  The top three spots of the Indie World Country Chart actually stayed the same, so we still have a great chance to move up!  Charting will not take place this week because of Christmas.  We have also broken onto some of the “major” charts, meaning the song is competing with “major label artists.”  How exciting is that?!  We are getting more and more bigger, commercial stations playing the song.  We do still have some other exciting things that could happen with the song also!  Keep us in your prayers.

We had two SOLD OUT performances at The Breakers Dinner/Showroom for Christmas!  Thank you fans!  We have one more Christmas show there this Friday Dec 23 and it is already close to full.  You can still make reservations at  850-234-6060.

Hello Friends and Fans!

We have Exciting News!  ”My Name is America” is now Number 3 on the Independent Country Chart!  We are so grateful America and radio are loving this amazing song as much as we do!  Hopefully we will head for number 1!

Speaking of “My Name is America,”  you have been asking, here it is: we now have a “My Name is America” Ring Tone available for your cell phones!  If you visit www.mynameisamerica.us you can find it at the bottom of the Home Page!  It is free as a thank you to all of you who support this wonderful song and it’s message and as a thank you to our military!

We just recently had a road trip to Indiana and Ohio for a few shows.  Boy was it cold!  Our bodies have changed since we have lived in Florida and we don’t do cold very well, haha!  We did get to see a little bit of snow, which is kind of nice around Christmas time.  We went up for a corporate event in Ohio so I booked a couple of our old home town clubs so we could see our friends and family.  We had a show in Rome City, IN at my home American Legion, which you can see pictured below.  We certainly did have a fun relaxed night there!  Saturday night we headed up to Angola, IN to Club Paradise, also pictured below, for a fun night.  It was great to see so many friends come out from different states even, just to see us!  We appreciate you all and had a fantastic time seeing everyone at both shows!

We had a free day in between, so we took in the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Car Museumin Auburn, IN.  It is a pretty famous place in it’s own right.  Here is a bit about it taken from it’s web site: “ The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, a National Historic Landmark, has welcomed nearly two million visitors from all 50 states and from over 40 countries since the museum opened its doors at Noon on Saturday, July 6, 1974. It inhabits the former Auburn Automobile Company’s national headquarters building, a place where history was made over 75 years ago! Many of the Auburn and Cord automobiles you see driving around Auburn each Labor Day weekend were designed and developed in this very building.

MSNBC News named the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum one of the “Top Ten Gearhead Destinations in the United States.”  It is easy for visitors to see why the museum has received such high national praise. This automotive mecca exhibits over 120 cars ranging from 1894 to 1999 and automotive displays on three floors. The museum has the greatest and most extensive collection of Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg automobiles in the world, and features the largest exhibit of Duesenberg automobiles on public display in the world! This is a destination that you and your family can not miss!” -automobilemuseum.org

We want to thank Sharon and the museum staff for our wonderful Tour of this amazing museum!  Below you can see just a few of the amazing automobiles on display!  We hope you enjoy…

Tuesday we have a show in Ohio.  We will do another blog post later this week.
